Summer Symphony: Concert Band & Orchestra
Start the school year ahead of the pack! Beginning and intermediate woodwind, brass, percussion and string students are invited to spend the summer strengthening their skills through fun repertoire. Play in large and small ensembles, participate in music theory workshops, and work with top Boston musicians. Partners include Castle of Our Skins Chamber Ensemble, the Boston City-Wide String Orchestra and more! Open to students currently in grades 4-11.
Summer Stage: Dance & Theatre
Dancers, poets and actors of all backgrounds, experience and abilities are invited to join us for Summer Stage! Our dance intensive includes body conditioning and choreography designed to bring out the best in everyone. Our theatre intensive takes students through the entire process of producing a play, from audition to rehearsals, set design to performance. Open to students currently in grades 4-11.
Come explore Quaver's Marvelous World of Music! This highly interactive experience uses technology and classroom instruments to teach basic music skills. Students sing, play, dance and create as they explore musical elements and build new friendships. This half-day camp is open to students currently in grades 3-5.
Participants in all programs must be BPS students currently in grades 3-11 (exact grade levels vary by program).
